Inline Autocomplete suggests text completions while you type in any application. Powered by your local AI model and your memory context.
<figure><img src="../.gitbook/assets/6. Inline Autocomplete@2x.png" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
#### How It Works
As you type, OpenHuman watches for pauses (controlled by debounce). After you pause, it generates a completion based on what you have typed plus relevant context from memory. Press Tab to accept.

# Rewards & Achievements
### Rewards & Achievements
The Rewards tab tracks your engagement with OpenHuman, your usage milestones, and your participation in the OpenHuman community. Earn achievements through use and unlock Discord roles, supporter badges, and other backend-synced rewards.
The Rewards tab has three sub-sections: **Referrals**, **Rewards**, and **Redeem**.
#### Referrals
Invite others to OpenHuman and earn credits when they join and meet usage milestones. The Referrals tab shows your unique invite link, your referral history, and the credits you have earned through referrals.
#### Rewards
The main Rewards view tracks eight achievements across subscription, streak, feature usage, and token milestones.
**Connect Discord**
The top of the Rewards page lets you connect your Discord account. Connecting Discord unlocks exclusive channels, supporter badges, and backend-synced rewards. Two buttons are available: **Connect Discord** (link your account) and **Join Discord** (open the OpenHuman Discord invite).
**Your Progress**
Shows how many of the eight total achievements you have unlocked, with a percentage progress indicator.
**The Eight Achievements**
**Monthly Supporter:** Keep an active monthly paid plan to unlock the monthly supporter role.
**Annual Supporter:** Commit to a yearly paid plan to unlock the annual supporter role.
**7-Day Streak:** Use OpenHuman on seven consecutive active days.
**30-Day Streak:** Show up for thirty consecutive active days.
**Feature Maxi:** Use every major tracked OpenHuman feature at least once.
**Power User 10M:** Process ten million tokens through the product.
**Power User 100M:** Process one hundred million tokens through the product.
**Power User 1B:** Process one billion tokens through the product.
Each achievement shows its status (Locked or Unlocked) with a description and the action required to unlock it.
**Status Footer**
At the bottom of the Rewards view, three stats summarize your engagement:
* **Discord server:** Whether your Discord is linked.
* **Current streak:** Number of consecutive active days.
* **Cumulative tokens:** Total tokens you have processed through OpenHuman.
#### Redeem
Use earned credits and coupon codes. Apply credits toward premium model access, extended capabilities, or extra storage. Coupon codes from promotions or partner programs can be entered here.
#### How Achievements Work
Achievements track real product usage and engagement, not vanity metrics. Streak achievements reward consistent daily use. Power User achievements reward sustained processing volume. Supporter achievements reward financial support of the project. Feature Maxi rewards exploring the full surface area of OpenHuman.
Discord roles linked to achievements sync automatically once your Discord account is connected.

# Skills & Integrations
### Skills & Integrations
OpenHuman extends its capabilities through Skills, organized into five categories accessible from the Skills tab in the bottom navigation. Each Skill is either a built-in desktop capability, a messaging channel, or a third-party integration that connects through OAuth.
OpenHuman's capabilities are organized into three categories, all accessible from the Skills tab in the bottom navigation.
<figure><img src="../.gitbook/assets/9. Skills &#x26; Integrations@2x.png" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
#### Built-in Skills
Core desktop capabilities that run locally on your device.
**Screen Intelligence:** Captures your screen, summarizes what is on it, and feeds useful context into memory. Configurable capture frequency (default: 1 frame per second), per-app allowlist and denylist controls, and privacy-first local processing. Configure in Settings > Automation & Channels > Screen Intelligence.
**Screen Intelligence:** Captures windows, summarizes what is on screen, and feeds useful context into memory. Configurable capture frequency (\~5 seconds default), per-app allowlist and denylist controls. All processing happens locally.
**Text Auto-Complete (Inline Autocomplete):** Suggests inline completions while you type in any application. Powered by your local AI model and your memory context. Accept suggestions with Tab. Configurable debounce timing, max characters, style presets, and per-app disable list. Configure in Settings > Automation & Channels > Inline Autocomplete.
**Text Auto-Complete:** Suggests inline completions while you type and lets you control where autocomplete is active. Powered by your local AI model and your memory context. Press Tab to accept suggestions.
**Voice Speech To Text:** Uses the microphone for dictation and voice-driven chat with local speech recognition. All processing happens on-device.
**Voice Intelligence:** Uses the microphone for dictation and voice-driven chat with your AI. All speech recognition runs locally on your device.
#### Channel Integrations
Each built-in Skill has a Setup or Enable button to activate it.
#### Channels
Messaging platforms that OpenHuman can send and receive messages through.
**Telegram:** Full messaging integration with 80+ capabilities including sending, replying, forwarding, editing, and deleting messages, managing groups and channels, handling contacts, admin actions, and more. See the Telegram Capabilities Reference for the complete list. Two connection modes: connect via OpenHuman (one-click, encrypted) or provide your own credentials.
**Telegram:** Send and receive messages via Telegram. Full two-way access including reading history, sending and replying, forwarding, editing, deleting, managing groups, handling reactions, polls, contacts, admin actions, and more. Over 80 distinct actions are available.
**Discord:** Send and receive messages via Discord. Configuration required.
**Discord:** Send and receive messages via Discord. Two-way messaging across your Discord servers and channels.
Both channels show connection status and can be configured by clicking the Configure button in the Skills tab.
Both channels show "Not configured" until you click Setup and complete the connection flow.
#### 3rd Party Skills
#### Social
External data sources that OpenHuman ingests and reasons over.
Connect social platforms to extend your knowledge graph and post or interact across channels.
**Gmail:** Connects via Google API for comprehensive email integration. Once connected, OpenHuman syncs your email on a configurable interval (default: every 15 minutes). Shows local storage used and file count. To connect: go to Skills tab > 3rd Party Skills > Gmail > Configure.
**Facebook:** Create posts, manage pages, and work with Facebook social data.
**Notion:** Workspace integration with 25 tools for pages, databases, and documents. Syncs on a configurable interval (default: every 20 minutes). Shows local storage used and file count.
**Instagram:** Manage Instagram publishing, messaging, and social content workflows.
To connect: go to Skills tab > 3rd Party Skills > Notion > Configure.
**Reddit:** Read posts, monitor communities, and participate in Reddit discussions.
**Important:** Gmail and Notion are available now as 3rd Party Skills. The Connections page in **Settings > Account & Security** shows deeper native integrations (Google, Notion, Web3 Wallet, Crypto Trading Exchanges) that are coming soon. To connect Gmail or Notion today, use the Skills tab, not the Connections page.
**Slack:** Send messages and read channel history in Slack.
#### Sync Intervals
#### Tools & Automation
Each connected 3rd party skill syncs on a configurable schedule. You can adjust intervals in **Settings > Automation & Channels > Cron Jobs**.
Connect development and project management tools.
| Skill | Default Sync Interval |
| ------ | --------------------- |
| Gmail | Every 15 minutes |
| Notion | Every 20 minutes |
**GitHub:** Inspect repos, issues, and pull requests on GitHub.
More frequent syncing keeps data fresher but uses more inference budget.
**Linear:** Triage and update issues in your Linear workspace.
#### Coming Soon
#### Productivity
Connections for Google (calendar, contacts), Notion (deeper native integration), Web3 Wallet, and Crypto Trading Exchanges are in development. These will appear in Settings > Account & Security > Connections when available.
Connect your work tools so OpenHuman can pull context from email, calendar, documents, and spreadsheets.
**Gmail:** Read, search, and send email through your Google account.
**Google Calendar:** List and manage events across your Google calendars.
**Google Drive:** Browse and fetch files from your Google Drive.
**Google Sheets:** Read, update, and organize spreadsheets in Google Sheets.
**Notion:** Read and edit pages, databases, and comments in Notion.
#### How Connections Work
Most third-party integrations connect via Composio OAuth. When you click Connect on an integration, a browser window opens for authentication. Once you complete sign-in, the connection becomes active and OpenHuman can begin syncing data.
Each integration shows its current status:
* **Not connected / Not configured:** Integration has not been set up.
* **Connected:** Integration is active and syncing.
* **Manage:** Active integration with options to reconfigure or disconnect.
#### What Skills Can Do
Skills operate within defined boundaries. A skill can fetch external data, run on a schedule, process and transform information, write structured outputs, and respond to events. Each skill runs in its own sandboxed environment with enforced resource limits.
#### Privacy
When you connect a Skill, OpenHuman has the access scope shown for that integration. All ingested data is processed and compressed locally on your device. Raw data does not leave your machine. Compressed summaries and structured context enter your Neocortex knowledge graph with AES-256-GCM encryption.
You can revoke any connection at any time from the Skills tab.

# The Chat Interface
Chat is where you talk to OpenHuman. Ask questions, give instructions, draft messages, request summaries, or have OpenHuman act on your behalf across connected platforms. All processing is powered by your local AI model with context from your Neocortex knowledge graph.
#### Threads
Conversations live as threads in the left sidebar. Each thread is auto-named by timestamp (e.g., "Chat Apr 20 7:04 PM"). Click any thread to resume the conversation. Click "+ New" to start a fresh thread.
#### Three Starter Modes
When you open a chat, three modes are available at the top of the screen. Each surfaces a different way to engage with your context.
**Briefing-first**
The default mode for returning users. OpenHuman opens with a personalized greeting and a compressed summary of what happened while you were away.
A typical briefing surfaces the most important items from your last session: deadline changes, people waiting on you, replies needed, and key updates from your connected sources. Below the briefing, four quick actions let you jump directly into the most likely next steps:
* Draft a reply to a specific person
* View today's commitments
* Check pipeline or project pulse
* Pick up where you left off
Briefing-first is the fastest way to re-enter your work after a break.
**Compression Score**
A 0-to-100 score that quantifies the noise in your current information environment. Lower scores mean more buried context.
A typical view shows your score (e.g., "23/100 — High noise") with a breakdown: how many unread messages, buried action items, missed deadlines, and people waiting on you across all connected platforms.
Below the score, "Compress in one move" actions let you act on the noise immediately:
* Surface the people waiting on you
* Pull every action item buried in threads
* Show deadlines you have not seen
Compression Score is the right mode when you feel overwhelmed and need to triage.
**Cold Start**
Shown when you have not yet connected any sources. OpenHuman opens with the message "Your AI is smart. It just doesn't know you yet."
Two recommended connections are surfaced: Telegram (\~2 min, highest signal) and Screen Intelligence (on-device, \~5s capture). Sample prompts let you explore what OpenHuman can do before you connect anything:
* "What can you actually do?"
* "Show me a compression demo"
Cold Start is the empty state that turns into Briefing-first once you connect a source.
#### Message Input
Type your message in the input field at the bottom. Press Enter or click the send button to submit. Click the microphone icon to dictate using Voice Intelligence (local speech-to-text).
#### Inference Budget Indicator
The bottom right of the chat shows your current usage against your billing cycle: a 5-hour cap percentage and a 7-day cycle percentage. This helps you see how much of your inference budget you have consumed before hitting limits. Manage budget settings in Settings > Account & Security > Billing & Usage.

Your team makes decisions in chat and struggles to execute. Commitments dissolve into scroll history. Contradictions between separate conversations go unnoticed until standups.
<figure><img src="../.gitbook/assets/25. Distributed Teams@2x.png" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
#### The problem
Chat is fast but ephemeral. Action items live in threads nobody revisits. Accountability depends on individual memory, which fails at scale.
